Enter the Take Your Shot teen photo contest; this year’s theme is “Feels Like Home.” Participants aged 13 - 18 are encouraged to take photographs that encapsulate the feeling of home, be that your actual homes, objects that remind you of home, features of your hometowns, or the people or pets that make a house a home. There are three categories: People/Pets, Places, Things.
A jury of industry professionals will select a grand prize winner as well as a winner for each category. A selection of submissions, including the four winners will be professionally matted and featured in an exhibit at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery from August 12 - October 8, 2022.
A winner will be chosen from each category plus one grand prize winner. Winners will have their work professionally matted and displayed at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery in August as part of a photography exhibit. Winners will also receive their professionally matted and framed photo and their choice of $100 to Mainframe in Sarnia, $100 to Carmen’s Foto Source or a virtual one hour one-on-one session with award winning photographer, Peter Power.
